How It Works & FAQ

New to Capital Combat Zone? Here’s exactly what to expect, plus quick answers to the most common questions.

How Your Day Works

What happens when we get there?

When you arrive, you’ll check in and pay any remaining balance on your reservation.
We do accept walk-ins, but if you want to make sure equipment is ready and waiting for you,
we recommend making a reservation through our website.

Once payment is completed and waivers are signed, our staff will issue rental equipment and run a full safety briefing.
After that, we get you right into games.

Each game lasts about 10–15 minutes. You’ll go out with referees who monitor safety, organize teams,
and explain the next game objective. We divide the field into sections depending on player count and rotate through different game types.

If you’re looking for a private party, those are available Monday through Friday for groups of
15 or more players.

Most groups are here for about 2 to 2½ hours.

Do we play all day?

There is no set time limit on weekends. Most groups stay about 2 to 2½ hours,
but you’re welcome to keep playing as long as you’d like.

If you run out of paintballs, you can purchase more and keep going.

How many games do we get?

There is no set number of games. It depends on how much paint you use per game and how quickly games rotate.

If you’d like to continue playing, you can always purchase additional paintballs.

Do we stay with our group?

Yes — if you’d like to stay together, just let the referees know and they’ll make it happen when possible.

Some groups prefer to split up and play against each other — we’re flexible and we’ll run it the way your group wants.

When do we leave?

We close at 4:00 PM. You can leave whenever you’re finished playing — whether that’s after a couple hours or at closing time.
